What an honor it is to be a part of the St. Joseph School family! I am excited about the year ahead and anxious to work with our new Pastor, Fr. Steven Guitron, and you, to make this year the first of many happy and productive years for you and your children. Sometimes change is difficult, but I truly believe that there will be many opportunities for us to work together to support our parish school's efforts to grow and thrive.
I am very grateful for the faculty's and staff's support as we begin our new journey together, and I look to you, for additional support and enthusiasm as we move forward. Our goal is to create a safe environment in which to provide an outstanding academic program for our children aligned to the Common Core State Standards while, at the same time, nurturing and growing their understanding of our Catholic Christian faith. Everything we do will be centered around the rituals, traditions and rich history of Catholicism. Further, we will strive to encourage in them a lifelong love of learning, that promotes a positive self-concept that encourages responsibility, good citizenship and service to others.
This is a challenge that we cannot accomplish alone. We need you, as the first teachers of your children, to lay the groundwork at home, by creating a loving environment that promotes the love of God and neighbor. You can teach your children by word and example. In this way, you will strengthen the ideals and values that we teach, here, at school. Know that you are not alone in this task. We are always here to support you along the way.
My door is always open to you; please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself whenever you are around. I am here for you and your children.
Yours in Christ,
